The Podcast Project, a product between high school students and the Dodgeville, Wisconsin Public Library seems to be a great activity to get young adults involved in the library:

The teens give book reviews and this is rather worthwhile to the community itself: they can "see" out what teens find interesting! I would endeavor to do something like this when I become a YA librarian.
